1. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. A child or student may use ACD Math only through an authorized school, educator, learning provider, parent, or guardian and under any required supervision or consent. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
2. Accounts and authorized access
Account information must be accurate and kept current. Credentials may not be shared except through an approved classroom or guardian flow. You are responsible for activity under your account and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. Roles and permissions must be used only for their intended educational or administrative purpose.
3. Educational use and professional judgment
ACD Math provides instructional, diagnostic, practice, and reporting tools. Scores, mastery estimates, recommendations, and AI-assisted output are decision-support information—not a substitute for educator judgment. They must not be used alone for high-stakes placement, grading, discipline, disability determination, or denial of an educational opportunity.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- access another person's account or data without authorization;
- upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or malicious material;
- probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with security, tenancy, assessment integrity, or access controls;
- scrape, resell, reverse engineer, or reproduce the service except where law expressly permits;
- use the service to profile, advertise to, or exploit children or students;
- misrepresent generated, diagnostic, or assessment output as independently verified fact.
5. Content and intellectual property
ACD Math and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, designs, curricula, question formats, trademarks, and supplied content. Subject to these terms and any order, we grant a limited, non-transferable right to use the service for authorized educational purposes.
You retain rights in content you are authorized to submit. You grant ACD Math the limited permission needed to host, process, display, evaluate, secure, and back up that content while providing the service. You must have the rights and permissions required to submit it.
6. Privacy and student data
Our Privacy Policy describes general data practices. Institution-controlled student data is also governed by the applicable agreement and lawful instructions of that institution. Users must not enter unnecessary sensitive personal information into open text, support, or AI-assisted fields.
7. Plans, fees, and pilot features
Pricing, billing periods, renewals, cancellations, usage limits, and included services are defined at checkout or in an applicable order. Pilot, preview, beta, or development features may change, be incomplete, or become unavailable. We will not represent simulated integrations or development adapters as completed production services.
8. Availability, suspension, and termination
We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Access may be limited for maintenance, security, legal compliance, nonpayment, material breach, or risk to users or the platform. On termination, access and data handling follow the applicable plan, institutional agreement, and legal retention duties.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Educational results depend on many factors, and we do not guarantee a particular learning outcome. Liability and remedies under an institutional agreement remain governed by that agreement; otherwise, mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded by these terms.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the service changes. Updated terms will show a new effective date, and additional notice will be provided when required. Questions can be sent to hello@acdmath.com.
